The Structure And Phase Transitions In Aluminosilicate Glasses And Melts

After silica, aluminium oxide is one of the most important components of both natural and technical glasses and melts. All industrial glasses contain aluminium oxide to some extent and its influence on glass properties is rather considerable. There are many works on the structural state of aluminium ions in glass and a brief statement of the main results is given in this paper.
