Structural Study Of Densified Borate Glasses By Raman And Infrared Spectroscopy

Alkali borate glasses containing 10 to 30 mol% alkali oxides were densified by applying hydrostatic pressure at a temperature near their glass transition temperature, and their structural changes were studied by means of Raman and infrared spectroscopy.
