Stress Levels Causing Thermal Fractures Can Be Predicted More Accurately

Results of an experimental investigation of thermal fracture in solar control glass are presented and a technique for predicting risk of failure is suggested. There are indications that machined or arrised edges may be better than clean-cut edges for solar control glass.
