Strength Of Bottles As Affected By Limitations Of Manufacturing Processes

This paper is part of the proceedings of the Standard Testing Procedure Committee of the Glass Container Association of America. The reasons that caused the Committee to ask for a more or less formal statement of what was known on this subject will be apparent from the paper itself. It is believed that the paper offers a new approach to some difficult problems connected with strength, and that it may act as a basis for industrial advances or for further contributions by others outside the Committee.
