Stolzle Sustainability Report

Linked with its growth and expansion of production capacity, Stolzle Glass Group has invested significantly in the field of environmental protection, in improving working conditions for employees, as well as in health and safety in recent years. Between 2015-16 the following milestones have been achieved: 3% reduction in energy consumption; 20% decrease of NOx emissions; 3% drop of water emission; and 15% increase in female employees. In its average production of three billion bottles a year, the group uses 120,000/tonnes of recycled cullet, helping to save 140,000/tonnes of raw materials and reducing CO2 emissions by 30,000/tonnes.
