[Standards] Astm C148-14 - Amended And Replaced

C148 — 14: Standard Test Methods for Polariscopic Examination of Glass Containers, has been revised (C148-17) which now includes the following amendment (by Working Group WK57015): “Proposed additions of Section 6.1.4 and Section 10.1.6 stating Samples must be cooled so that entire thickness of glass is at room temperature.” The standard can be purchased directly from ASTM (£30) at: www.astm.org or it is available for loan to British Glass members.
