Spectrophotometry As A Tool For Redox Process Control

This paper describes practical experience in the spectrophotometric control of the redox equilibrium. The key point of that otherwise trivial application is the analysis of unprepared samples of variable geometry. Instrumental factors amplify their weight with irregular samples but a good solution is the photodiode based spectrophotometer with computer control. Extensions to different glass products are beiefly presented here to verify the general value of the approach.
