Spectrophotometric Determination Of Co Concentration In Blue Glass (In Italian)

Cobalt concentration must be monitored continuously during glass manufacture. Even a slight variation of Co may cause marked colour variations. A method is described in this paper which allows the manufacturer to monitor cobalt concentration using a spectrophotometer with one detector covering the visible range. This method was adopted for glasses having high cobalt concentrations for intense blue colourations.
