Spectrographic Analysis Of Technical And Ancient Glasses

A method for the spectrographic determination of Al, Fe, Ti, Ca, Mg, Ba, Li, Zn and B in technical and ancient glasses is described. Pulverised coal was used as buffer and strontium, cobalt and cadmium as internal standard. Excitation was carried out using carbon electrodes in an A.C. arc.
