Organisations can make grand claims about their packaging, and how recyclable it is, but without investment it remains just talk. Retailers are at the forefront of public and governmental demands for answers on the sustainability of the food and drink we buy. Through commitments like Courtauld II, they're engaging with "green" issues like never before. So what questions should retailers be asking their packers and packaging suppliers to ensure that environmental needs are being met in full?
