Sorg Second Generation Cascade Heating System For Reducing Nox, Including Additional Primary Measures

The Cascade Heating System produces a secondary flame in the side of the port neck and this low velocity secondary flame overlays and burns out over the root of the primary flame. This reduces the level of excess oxygen and therefore the flame core temperature. The use of the Sorg Cascade Heating System and additional measures for reducing NOx will reduce levels to less than 650 mg/Nm3 in the medium term.
