Solvent Cleaners And Electrostatic Charging

Solvents are widely used in screenprinting, whether it is for cleaning purposes or as components of printing inks, thinners or retarders. This is a potential source of danger which should not be neglected and which is emphasised in many regulations and guidelines. Each country has its own particular regulations and these should be carefully adhered to. German-based Kissel + Wolf has given a lot of thought as to how this danger can be further reduced and work safety increased. In particular, the subject of electrostatic charging of solvents has been examined, which is the subject of this article.
