This paper discusses the interaction of glazing with the internal environment of a car's body, and the parameters influencing thermal comfort conditions. Pilkington's modelling capability for glazing types is described and a presentation is made of the recent release of a software package capable of simulating the thermal evolution and comfort in a car under both static and dynamic conditions.
