Sodium Sulphate - Specifications

The inert, inorganic salt sodium sulphate (Na2SO4) can be recovered from a large number of minerals, although the principal commercial sources are thenardite and mirabilite (also known as Glauber's Salt). The product is supplied in various grades, depending on whether destined for the detergent, textile, glass, paper, or chemical markets. However, all grades are white, odourless crystals or powders.
