[Soda Ash] Soda Ash Market To Feel Supply Shortage?

EU soda ash fundamentals could radically change from late September as Cech looks to hibernate its plant in Govora, Romania following the termination of a deal for industrial process steam with its supplier. According to industry sources, the plant is being prepared for hibernation and is running at 20-30% reduced rates. The hibernation could last up to three years if no alternative suppliers are found. Around 8% of its supplies go to Europe.
