Smart Packaging

Packs which shout the product's benefits from supermarket shelves, emit a fragrance as shoppers walk past or automatically inform them when food in the fridge is about to go off will be among the talking points at "Smart and Intelligent Packaging" - a two-day PIRA International conference examining everything from RFID and smart inks to time-temperature indicators being held in London on October 25 and 26. Speakers will include senior personnel from top brand owner and converter companies.
