Sklarna Hermanovahut - Forging New Export Links

After completing last year the process of transition from being state-controlled to being privately-owened, Czech glassmaker Sklarna Hermanova Hut has opened what its management calls a "new chapter" in its 92-year history. Last year also saw the end of the system of state monopoly of glass exports. These changes allow the company to focus more on exports, establish new sales contacts and, as chairman Pavel Bobosik says, "Terminate bad contact and confirm those that are advantageous to both our glass works and our partners. We are convinced that the transformation into a private company will open a new period of dynamic development."
