Thun 1794 Hotel & Restaurant offers a one-stop source for supplying crystal glass & porcelain. Stemware & barware have been manufactured (by Bohemia Crystalex) in a new glass composition called "Sparkle", which was launched as a result of extensive development of a new glass formula, in cooperation with internationally recognised scientists. "Sparkle" is said to be high quality crystal glass, complying fully with 69/493 EC Crystal Directive, having a refractive index over 2.525 & "white index" measuring transparency & clearness equal to 93 (100 = clean air). It also records high thermal & mechanical resistance, with minimum tolerances when different glasses are tested. It remains intact after several thousand washing cycles.
