Sisecam Opens Second Flat Glass Plant In Italy

Sisecam Group has opened a plant in Manfredonia, Italy - its second flat glass investment in the country. The company, which had acquired and incorporated the Porto Nogaro plant in northern Italy in 2016, also completed the acquisition of the Manfredonia plant in Monte Sant'Angelo in June 2018. Due to the renovation and modernisation, the flat glass production facility was operational two months earlier than planned. The inauguration ceremony took place November 30, 2019. The Manfredonia plant has an annual production capacity of 190,000/tpa, bringing the company's annual production capacity in Italy up to 410,000/tpa.
