[Sisecam] Looking For Glassware Acquisition Opportunities

Turkey's Sisecam is eyeing household glassware acquisition opportunities in Europe and China, and flat glass opportunities in Africa, the company's general manager, Ahmet Kirman recently announced. "On flat glass we are eyeing African opportunities. We already have investments in Egypt which also target the African market, but it could be interesting to go for the sub-Saharan market," he told Reuters in an interview. He also added Sisecam would have to wait until 2016 for better market conditions to hold a planned initial public offering for its Pasabahce unit.
