[Sisecam] Global Industrial Group Covering All Basic Glass Sectors

Turkish-based Sisecam is an industrial group with main activities regarding the production of glass and chemicals. The group is in a leading position with regard to float glass; household glass; glass packaging and glass fibre, as well as soda and chromium compounds. Founded in 1935, the company places priority on meeting glass product requirements of the domestic market, followed by its entering the global markets strongly in the 1960s, in line with the group's "our market is the world" principle. This expansion in turn, led to rapid growth and the diversification of its activities in the 1970s.
