Sisecam To Build New Plant In Russia

Sisecam has announced it will construct a new float glass plant in Russia with two furnaces, creating 620 new jobs. The company has hired Zippe for the execution of the batch plant. Zippe's scope of delivery includes the engineering for concrete and steel work, the delivery of the entire equipment, installation, electric control system, cabling and commissioning. The float plant will have two furnaces, each capable of producing 750/tpd. The factory will manufacture some 230,000/t multi layered glass annually, 6M sq/m mirror glass as well as 5M sq/m of window glass.
