[Singapore] Ecopark To Herald New Glass Recycling Era

A 19-hectacre area in Tuas, Singapore, has been set aside as an Ecopark to recycle plastic, paper, glass and wood wastes. Announcing the pilot project, Environment Minister Mr Lim Swee Say hoped that the establishment of the Eco-Recycling Park would help attract technologically advanced recycling companies to set up their facilities there. It will also give a boost to new employment in the area.
