Simultaneous Surface And Bulk Crystallisation Of Bi1.5Znnb1.5O7 Type Pyrochlores And Related Crystals In Glass

New glasses based on the systems of Bi2O3-ZnO-Nb2O5-B2O3 and GeO2 were synthesized using a conventional melt-quenching method, and the formation behaviour of pyrochlore-type Bi1.5ZnNb1.5O7 crystals was examined to develop new dielectric glass-ceramics.
