Silica: The Next Asbestos?

In this paper the author argues that silica is not the next asbestos. It does, however, point out that it is a growing problem for many industries that sell or use crystalline silica in their products and that there are some parallels with asbestos. The article look at the problem, the regulations, the industry position and suggests an exposure control program.
