[Sibelco] Batch Improvement Potential Addressed

Sibelco has been addressing the focus for more energy efficient glass production in two ways. The first is an expansion of its cullet recycling facilities to optimise the supply of cullet. The second focuses on innovative research and development, which has led to the development of a novel multi-layered pellet that has all the benefits of existing pellet technology but due to its construction, has the potential for much greater energy savings, as explained in this paper.
