Shear Spray Consistency Improves Efficiency

To increase machine speed and efficiency it is necessary to remove variables and increase consistency in as many areas as possible in the glass forming process. This paper describes a shear spray system. which, by separate oil and water storage, control of water quality, pressure and temperature and control of flow rate, maximises the consistency of shear blade cooling and lubrication.
