Sensor For Oxygen Activity Measurements In Glass Melts

An oxygen sensor with no parts subject to wear, and which is less sensitive to temperature gradients in the surrounding area than zirconia sensors, is described. Measurement, however, is subject to disturbance by direct flame irradiation.
