Sejal - Production Commences At Float Plant

Sejal Architechture Glass (SAGL), India's first integrated player in flat glass, has announced that its float glass manufacturing plant at Jhagadia, Bharuch has commenced commercial operations. Amrut Shivaji Gada, Chairman & MD said, "I, along with my colleagues take immense pride in announcing the commencement of the commercial operations from the one of its kind float glass plant in India. We believe that this plant will not only prove the engineering excellence that Sejal portrays, but also strengthen its position in the flat glass industry." Sejal has invested nearly INR 6BN in the project & expects revenue generation of about INR 4.5BN when completely operational. It will have a daily production capacity of 550/tpd. The company expects to capture around 18% of the flat glass market.
