A small consulting firm in the UK is now developing a recycling and recovery system to deal with some of the hardest waste problems in the industry. The Crystal Centre was set up by Roger Pauli and associates two years ago after the sale of Stuart Crystal, his family business, to Waterford Crystal. As well as being a place where Mr Pauli can continue research into environmental effects in the industry, it also houses a glassmaking studio and a retail operation, selling a range of fine crystal.
