Architects have traditionally been asked to work with coloured coatings and designs applied on Surface 2 and viewed through glass, which can limit the design options available. Significant improvements and new approaches to glass science have resulted in the development of more durable glass enamels, which in turn have opened up the possibility to coat and print architectural glass on surface one.
