Saverglass - Furnace No 5 To Be Reactivated

Saverglass, specialised in luxury bottles for spirits, registered in 2009 a decreased turnover of 18% to (Euros) 250M. But this includes the investment of (Euros) 80M made in Arques to increase the group's output capacity by 40%. Due to a lack of demand in 2009, production activities had to be cut by 25% (85,000 tonnes). Orders are, fortunately, satisfactory for the first quarter 2010 so that furnace N°5 at Feuquières will be reactivated shortly and the one at Le Havre probably next spring or summer.
