Sardinia Crystal

Sardinia Crystal was first established by the Sardianian state mining company to exploit the rich mineral resources of the island. The aim was to use the local resources and imported technical know-how to create employment for islanders. After the initial start-up stage, the next significant step was privatization, which put the company into the hands of a group of local industrialists, who brought with them a decidedly market-oriented philosophy.
