Saint-Gobain To Sell Desjonqueres Bottling Business

It was announced 13th September that Saint-Gobain plans to proceed with the sale of its Desjonqueres perfume and pharmaceutical bottling business as part of its divestment of non-core assets, financial daily La Tribune said, based on labour union sources. Chief executive Jean-Louis Beffa announced last November that several businesses could be sold over the coming 18 months 'in order to continue to improve the structure of Saint-Gobain's asset portfolio.' Desjonqueres generates annual sales of Euros 411M compared with Saint-Gobain's total sales of Euros 34.9BN last year.
