Saint-Gobain Invest In Solaglas

Saint-Gobain recently announced details of a £2M investment in its Coventry-based subsidiary, Solaglas. The money is being spent on redesigning the double-glazed factory unit to improve efficiency, bring in new glass cutting tables, upgrade equipment & broaden the product range. David Danger, Solaglass's regional general manager said, "We operate in a challenging & rapidly developing market, & this plant will secure the future of the business in Coventry & the jobs of those that work at the site. The Binley site has seen major improvements in quality & service over the last 12 months." The project began during March & is expected to be completed by the end of June 2005.
