Anglo-S African brewer SABMiller is bidding to buy all the remaining shares it does not own in its 6 Lima-listed Peruvian subsidiaries. London based SABMiller said it is making simultaneous tender offers on the Lima Stock Exchange for all voting shares which it does not already own in its Peruvian subsidiaries: Vidrios Planos Peru, UCP Backus y Johnston, Cerveceria San Juan, Comp Cervecera Sur del Peru, Ind. del Envase & Inmobiliaria Pariachi. The offer, valued at around $45M, will expire on 6/12/06. The cash offers are at valuations/share determined independently in accordance with Lima Stock Exchange rules. SABMiller currently owns 93.7% of UCP Backus y Johnston, Peru's largest brewer, 75.7% of Cerveceria San Juan, 84.5% of Compania Cervecera del Sur del Peru, 77% of Ind. del Envase, 80.4% of Inmobiliaria Pariachi & 98.7% of Vidrios Planos del Peru.
