[Russia] Russian Flat Glass Market: Trends And Challenges

In 2008 the economic situation in Russia underwent deep changes: From the economic growth of the first six months (an 8% increase in GDP) to entering the financial and economic crisis with all the ensuing consequences. In this article the authors analyse the situation with regards to the flat glass industry, proposing ways of saving production potential. Tables are given showing companies, regions, start-up date, number of float lines and production in tpd are shown.
