[Russia] Rasko Builds On Russian Glassmaking Heritage

With a history dating back to the early years of the 19th Century, Rasko has emerged as one of Russia's major players in the glass packaging business in recent years, operating high productivity factories close to Moscow and in the south west of the country, close to the Ukraine border. In addition to BB and PB production methods, the company operates NNPB technology to make a wide range of containers in several colours and myriad designs, with capacities from 0.2 to 2 litres. One of Russia's leading glass container manufacturers for beers, liquor and food products, the Russian American Glass Co (Rasko) has been the subject of significant investment and expansion since the turn of the century, as explained by Alexander Sergeyenko, Technical Director.
