[Russia] Omsk Glass Factory Makes Test Batch Of Beer Bottles

Serial production of lightweight glass containers for the beer industry began at the Omsk glass factory in mid-July, using technology that significantly reduces the weight of the bottle, and increases its strength. The first batch of 300,000 items has already been manufactured and mass production will start once customers provide the necessary specifications and approve the bottles. The Omsk plant produces glass bottles from clear glass, using raw materials from the quarries of Ulyanovsk, Novosibirsk and Kemerovo regions. In the near future raw materials from Kormilovskogo will be used.
