[Russia] New Float Plant

Russia's Promtekhinvest recently announced it will begin building a float glass plant worth RUR 7.5BN in the Ulyanovsk region before the end of 2008, the regional government said 13 October 2008. The company will hold the ground-breaking ceremony in late November. Despite the global financial crisis, all the investors developing projects in the Ulyanovsk region are pressing forward with their plans, regional governor Sergei Morozov said.
