[Russia] New Float Plant

The Russian republic of Dagestan plans to launch a glass production plant mid-2010, the republic's President Mukhu Aliyev told Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin at an investment forum on 19 September 2008. Investment in the building of the plant, which will have a daily projected capacity 600/tpd float glass, will add up to EUR 181.21M. The construction project will be financed 25% with funds from the republic's budget & 75% with borrowed funds.
