[Russia] Hft Win Russian Contract

Henry F Teichmann Inc (HFT), a leading US glass process engineering and contracting firm, signed a turnkey contract with CJSC Evrosteklo of Russia on June 10, 2008, at mir Stekla in Moscow. The project is for a 600/tpd float glass plant to be built in Makhachkala, Republic of Daghestan, Russia and utilises the latest PPG float glass technology. PPG will also act as a technology partner to CJSC Evrosteklo. The new site should be operational by June 2010.
