[Russia - Glassworks Profile] Rasko - A History Of Modernisation

Rasko (Russian-American Glass Company) has a centuries-long history. It was in 1814 when the company's parent plant, Anopino Glass Plant was founded in the Vladimir region. Rasko became established in 1998 in association with American partners on the foundations of the Anopino Glass Plant. Launching of this new glassworks, equipped in line with modern EU production facilities, have enabled Rasko to become one of the largest glass production facilities in Russia in terms of technology. Total production capacity of the company stands at around 1000M bottles per year in all major colours; flint, brown and green. The form of glass bottles can be both standard and exclusive and production capabilities enable to switch to production of articles of different colours and shapes. This article presents an overview of the company. Thanks to continuous commitment from its owners and management and, of course, the experience of its workers, this company has become, over the years, recognised for the quality of its production, both for the domestic market and internationally.
