Rona Turnover Up In 2006

Slovak glassware producer Rona, a.s. Lednicke Rovne reported turnover of SKK 1.721BN in 2006, up 7.7% from 2005. Production costs were SKK 1.134BN, up 5.5%. The firm generated added value of SKK 602.1M & closed 2006 with a taxed profit of SKK 60.5M, up 20.8% year-on-year. Shareholders will decide on the distribution of profit from 2006 at an annual general meeting on 6 June 2007. Joint stock company Rona was founded in 1996 under the name BDS, sro, Lednicke Rovne. On 1 January 2003 it merged with joint stock LR Crystal, becoming the legal successor of a one hundred-year-old manufacturer.
