The Rise Of The Irresistible Resist

Decoration of glass holloware by sandblast engraving is not a new technique, but has been around for over a century. General availability in the market of work of indifferent quality has led to a perception of the technique as a rather crude and unrelaiable form of cold end decoration. In this paper the author describes recent advances in sandblast resist technology which are set to change this belief.
