Rigolleau is Argentina's oldest glassmaker with production dating back to 1882. In 1993 Cattorini, the country's biggest glassmaker, acquired almost 72% of the company and the remaining shares were floated on the stock exchange. In 1999, Rigolleau continues to operate a successful enterprise, having invested heavily in recent years in its melting furnaces. It has also recently launched a recycling initiative.
