Riedel - Turnover Raised 15%

Austrian glassmaker Riedel Tiroler increased its turnover by 15% year-on-year to EUR 100M in 2004, the company recently announced. German subsidiary Nachtmann generated turnover of EUR 124M. The rise in turnover in 2004 is attributed to the success of the new "O" glass series, sales of which reached 2.2M. The largest growth in turnover was achieved by Riedel's subsidiaries in N American and Japan, which registered rises of 40% and 25% respectively. N America accounts for 44% of turnover, while Europe and Asia 45% & 9% respectively.
