Rexam Invests At Dongen

Rexam Glass has invested more than Euros 15M in its factory near Dongen in the Netherlands. The furnace has been improved to cut energy consumption and NOx emissions and to melt batch with a higher proportion of cullet. The cold end has a renewed layout with a new concrete floor, automated palletisers and carriers; reject glass conveyors moved below the floor and covered transport lines and packaging equipment.
