Revisiting Oxygen Usage For Fuel Savings

Oxygen has been used in glass melting furnaces for decades. More recently, the escalating price of fossil fuels has refocused attention on the fuel savings achievable with oxygen. In this paper the authors examine the effects of oxygen on the combustion process and explain how these effects can benefit the glassmaker.
