Review On The Safety Glass Industry In China

In China there are about 150 safety glass companies currently in operation. Production output has been increasing but not enough to push down high imports. As a result, the safety Glass Committee of China Architecture and Industrial Glass Association (CAIGA) has been encouraging safety glass producers to integrate foreign technology and equipment into their own production to improve quality and to develop new products. CAIGA has also resolved to broaden safety glass applications to include buildings to offset the limitation of having the automotive sector as the principal user of safety glass.
